While the shoot of all films was banned in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana earlier this week by three bodies heading the Telugu film industry, Venkatesh's 'Narappa' continued its work in Tamil Nadu. But with the Coronavirus threat worsening, the film's producer, D Suresh Babu, has announced the cancellation of production works indefinitely.
"The longest shoot schedule in the history of Suresh Productions, 'Narappa' has now been paused in view of threat of COVID-19. The team is heading back to Hyderabad today. The shoot shall resume once the condition outside stabilizes. We also hope that you all avoid social gatherings as much as possible. Stay safe and healthy," the makers said on Wednesday night.
Directed by Sreekanth Addala, the film has music by Mani Sharma and action choreography by fight master Peter Heins. With cinematography by Shyam K Naidu, its editing is by Marthand K Venkatesh. The story is by Vetrimaaran.
