Venkatesh's frank answers will shock you!

Victory Venaktesh has a style of his own when it comes to answering a journo's questions. As someone who doesn't take his stardom seriously, as someone humble and affable, as someone ever-so-humorous, his answers at times are a treat.

Here are a few answers through which Venky either gave away best kept secrets or cleverly withheld info during a media interaction yesterday.

Isn't it hard at this age for you to find a heroine?

Avnu amma (yes, dear). For how many more years can I expect to find heroines easily?

When your film fails contrary to what you thought, how do you feel?

I learnt something valuable from my father. Once you are done with it, don't harp on the result. Dad used to forget about his film by evening on day one. If he was told the film flopped, he would say, "OK fine. Leave it".

Why do some big stars get upset when their films flop?

Amma, why for me? (Mildly taps his forehead in his inimitable style).

What do you do when you realize in the middle of doing a film that it's not working out properly?

What can we do? At times, we filmmakers get lucky, though. Somewhere a film releases in some part of the world, giving us a template to work on. We were wondering what to do with the second half of a particular film. Indiana Jones came as a Godsend. We had the whole second half inspired from its tracks. Something similar happened with Nuvvu Naku Nacchav. The second half was not up to the mark. It was then that Trivikram Srinivas changed the whole course of the second half for good.

Why did you decide to slow down last year and why are you now about to do four films?

Antha vari meeda depend ayyuntundi (It all depends on Him). Him here is none other than Ramana Maharshi, Venky's godly figure.

Are you playing a guest role in Premam?

Watch it when Premam gets released. You will know whether I am there or not.
