Venkatesh's 'Drushyam 2' gets major updates

The Malayalam film 'Drishyam 2', starring Complete Actor Mohanlal, has been getting rave reviews ever since it started streaming on Amazon Prime last Friday. The film's Telugu remake has been formalized. Venkatesh is going to reprise Mohanlal in the remake. Meena is the heroine.
To be directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film will be shot in Telangana. It is learned that the remake, titled 'Drushyam 2', will be launched on March 6. It will go on the floors immediately.
The production works will be completed within 60 days. So, it will be quickie. The clinching of the project happened pretty fast, with Suresh Productions playing a major role in getting Joseph, the Mollywood director, on board.
The plan is to release the crime thriller before Anil Ravipudi's 'F3'. Venkatesh awaits the release of 'Narappa' in May. 'F3' being a major entertainer, it will be released for a special occasion to attract the family audience.
