Venkat Prabhu's 'Chennai 600028' is one of the world's top five

Director Venkat Prabhu's cult classic Chennai 600028' was the pioneer for new age cinema in Tamil which has evolved to what it is today. The film has found its place as one among the top 5 cricketing moments on film by UK's prestigious Guardian magazine and website. The other films mentioned are The Lady Vanishes', Lagaan', Hope and Glory' and The Shaun of the Dead'.

VP meanwhile is giving finishing touches to the Chennai 600028 2' which has all the original stars like Siva, Jai, Premgi Amaran, Nithin Sathya and Vijayalakshmi amongst others returning with musical score by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
