The work for 'Thalapathy 68' has officially begun. Director Venkat Prabhu and producer Archana Kalpathi started sharing regular updates on the project. As we reported earlier, the core team headed to Los Angeles for the 3D VFX Scan owing to the dual roles of Vijay in the movie. Now, they have shared photos of Thalapathy Vijay from the studio in LA.

Venkat Prabhu shared a couple of photos in which Thalapathy Vijay was being scanned in 3D using the advanced technology. Sharing the images, he captioned, "Welcome to the future!!! #Thalapathy68 @actorvijay @archanakalpathi" (sic). Archana Kalpathi posted these clicks on her Instagram stories. This is now doing rounds on the internet. The regular shooting is likely to commence on October/November.

As per sources, the Thalapathy 68 team is in talks with Jyothika, Simran, Priyanka Mohan, Madhavan, Prabhu Deva, Jai and Aparna Das. We have to wait to know if these actors become a part of the cast. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the musical score for the movie while Siddhartha Nuni takes care of the cinematography with stunts by Dhilip Subbarayan.
