It is worth mentioning that Suriya and Venkat Prabhu collaborated on the supernatural comedy 'Mass Engira Masilamani' costarring Nayanthara which released in the year 2015.
Venkat Prabhu along with Thalapathy Vijay and Archana Kalpathi flew to Los Angeles for the 3D scanning at the University of Southern California. This was to facilitate the computer graphics work involving the dual roles that Vijay is playing in the upcoming 'Thalapathy 68'. The frontline commercial filmmaker has apparently returned home.
Suriya on the other hand is currently shooting for 'Kanguva' directed by Siruthai Siva in which Disha Patani is playing the female lead. He is next set to star Vetrimaaraan's 'Vaadivaasal', Sudha Kongara's 'Suriya 43' and Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Rolex'.
