Director Venkat Prabhu has been known for his fun movies like Chennai 600028, Chennai 600028 IInd Innings, Goa, Saroja, Briyani and mass entertainers like Mankatha and Massu Engira Maasilamani. The director is now set to begin his next interesting project.

Venkat Prabhu is set to make his debut on the digital platform and his debut web series will begin shooting from today. This yet to be named web series will have Kajal Aggarwal playing lead role and actor Vaibhav is said to be playing an important role as well.

This web series will be streamed on Hotstar and will have 10 episodes. More details on this web series are expected soon. On the other end, Venkat Prabhu has completed shooting Party which is expected to release soon, and also has the script of Maanadu ready.
