Venkat Prabhu is currently at the peak of happiness as his upcoming film 'Maanaadu' starring Silambarasanin the lead role is all set to hit the theatres on the 27th of this month. While the release process is pacing at a higher speed he opened up about Simbu and his experience of working with him in a recent interview.

We all know STR and Venkat Prabhu share a special bond even from the initial days of their career. When asked about his union with Silambarasan for 'Maanaadu', Venkat Prabhu said, "I shared a great bonding with the actor, and he is not bad like how he is described by few. He is a gifted actor, and he always made it easy for me once we began the shooting."

Simbu gave a huge comeback by losing weight through the film Eeswaran Speaking about his physical transformation he said, "I was surprised after seeing the physical transformation of Simbu, and he took just three or four months to reduce massive weights. It was his immense hard work and he struggled a lot during the early days"

"I have managed his two different looks in the film. The actor had also insisted that he should be featured in the movie as he was so that his fans will get to know how fat he was and how he has transformed now. As a friend, I know some secrets, but the secrets are secret until they are not published, so I can't reveal more," he added. He also said that the delay in the release of this film will not affect him as he is confident about the story.
