Venkat Prabhu, Raju Murugan and D. Imman Unveil the First Look of Mustafa Mustafa

Feel-good cinema has long enjoyed a cherished place among audiences across generations, with its warmth and relatability earning unwavering affection. Continuing this tradition, Mustafa Mustafa, a heartwarming new film in the feel-good genre, is poised to delight viewers.

Directed by Praveen Saravanan and produced by Pradeep Mahadevan of The Mapogos Company, the film features a vibrant ensemble cast. Tamil cinema’s most humorous and relatable artistes – Sathish, Suresh Ravi, Monica Chinnakotla, Maanasa Choudhary, Karunakaran, Pugazh, Aishwarya Dutta, and Pavel Navageethan, come together to infuse the narrative with charm, wit, and spontaneity.

The film’s much-awaited first look was unveiled by acclaimed filmmakers Venkat Prabhu and Raju Murugan, along with celebrated music director D. Imman.

Speaking about the project, director Praveen Saravanan says, “Mustafa Mustafa isn’t a heavy film. It’s a slice-of-life Fri-Com (Friendship Comedy) that explores how a simple lie can spiral into absurd chaos. The story dives into the drama that unfolds when ordinary people panic and scramble to fix things, only to make them funnier and messier. My heartiest thanks to Venkat Prabhu sir, Raju Murugan sir, and D Imman sir for their kind gesture of showing support for our humble project by unveiling the film’s first look.”

Shot entirely in Chennai over 35 days, the film captures the city’s natural cadence, its humour, bustle, and heartbeat. The music, composed by MS Jones Rupert, features four enchanting tracks that echo the emotional fabric of the story.

The soundtrack is further elevated by soulful and vibrant vocal performances from GV Prakash, Vaisagh, Antony Dassan, Deepthi Suresh, and Gana Bala.

Cinematographer VishnuShri frames the film’s visual world with authenticity and vibrancy, while editor Dinesh Ponnuraj sculpts the narrative with deft rhythm, clarity, and emotional precision.

Produced under The Mapogos Company banner, Mustafa Mustafa brings together a spirited young creative team dedicated to crafting a modern, entertaining, and deeply relatable Tamil comedy.
