Venkat Prabhu has given a surprise news to Simbu fans which is regarding the new movie the duo are going to start pretty soon.  He has shared "Tuesday 11am (July 10th)  will release the title of STR-VP project!! Thanks guys!!!"

The Simbu-Venkat Prabhu project is produced by Suresh Kamatchi and there have been reports that Keerthy Suresh and Jhanvi Kapoor are in talks to play the female lead though there is no official confirmation regarding that.

Simbu has completed Mani Ratnam's multistarrer 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' costarring Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay and Aishwarya Rajesh among others.  Venkat Prabhu is also gearing up to release his own multistarrer 'Party' that includes Jai, Mirchi Shiva, Kayal Chandran, Sathyaraj, Jairam, Nivetha Pethuraj and Regina Cassandra.
