Director Venkat Prabhu’s ‘Maanaadu’ starring Simbu and S. J. Suryah is one of the most critically acclaimed films of the year that also was a huge winner at the box office.  In fact the film is Simbu’s career best, audiences having warmed up to his and Suryah’s amazing performances along with the new scifi fantasy story.

Top Telugu producers Srinivasaa Chitturi and Pavan Kumar immediately booked Venkat Prabhu for his next paying a huge remuneration.  The new film has Naga Chaitanya in the lead and will go on floors soon with the tag “This one will be special. Get ready for the fun ride,” 

The hot news is that Arun Vijay has been roped in to play a powerful role in ‘NC22’/VP11’.  It was reported that the dashing star will be seen as villain but sources close to his camp have denied it.  It is said thath AV accepted the role since its a parallel lead and also the role is very challenging.

Arun Vijay’s upcoming movies have all garnered a lot of attention especially ‘Yaanai’ directed by Hari and ‘Agni Siragugal’ costarring Vijay Antony and directed by Naveen.
