The press meet held for promoting the new movie 'Vizhithiru' releasing on the 6th of October has attracted unwanted controversy as T. Rajendhar the guest of honor targeted Sai Dhanshika the heroine for forgetting to mention him in her speech.  The media has gone to town about the issue and have also attacked celebrities on stage for smiling when the episode took place.

We got in touch with director Venkat Prabhu who is acting in ‘Vizhithiru’ and was also on stage and he has clarified that " T.R sir, was the guest of honor and in his own style he was trolling everybody including us on stage and hence along with Sai Dhanshika even we were victims.  The hands of the press people were also tied at that time and were able to react only the next day.  Hence it is clear that things went out of hand but we took it in a sporting manner because T.R. sir is our senior in the industry and anyone can see in the video that we all personally consoled Sai Dhanshika on the stage itself."
