Venkat Prabhu returns to acting with a gorgeous heroine!

Director Venkat Prabhu who is waiting for the release of his political thriller ‘Maanaadu’ has returned to acting and this time to play the lead opposite a cute heroine in Arunachalam Vaidyanathan’s film.

Arunachalam Vaidhyanathan who collaborated with Sneha in the film  Achchamundu! Achchamundu! has once again narrated a children’s story to her and Sneha is said to have liked it instantly. She will be playing the role of a strict mom while Venkat Prabhu pays her husband. The film is titled ‘Shot Boot 3’.

Speaking about Sneha’s character in the film  Arunachalam Vaidhyanathansaid, “Usually, we have seen Sneha in roles that have her smiling. Here, she is playing the role of a mom, but it will be a different kind of mother… a very authoritative woman.”

As for Venkat Prabhu, the filmmaker said, “We have an interesting and fun character as the pair of Sneha’s character. I thought of Venkat Prabhu, whose acting I’m a fan of. I’ve often told him that he did well even in Unnai Charanadaindhen, one of his early films. He instantly agreed to play this role.” The film went on floors on Wednesday in Chennai.
