Gautham Menon and Silambarasan's recent collaboration Vendhu Thanindathu Kaadu was released in theatres and received mixed reviews from the audience. The latest update about this film states that the satellite right and the OTT rights of this film have been acquired by leading platforms for a whopping price.

The recent unofficial news is that the film's satellite rights have been bagged by Kalaignar TV and digital rights have been bagged by Amazon Prime Video. The film is expected to stream online from late October.

Gautham had earlier mentioned in an interview that if Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu does well, he will go for a sequel, which was teased in the film. As the film is doing well at the box office, it is now sure that the director will try his hand at the sequel.

VTK is a gangster film directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, written by B. Jeyamohan and produced by Ishari K. Ganesh. The film stars Silambarasan and Siddhi Idnani, with Raadhika Sarathkumar, Siddique, Neeraj Madhav and Aangelina Abraham in supporting roles, the film has music composed by A. R. Rahman.
