Vemal’s ‘Sir’ teaser: Fights the religious superstitions that stand against education!

'Sir' is a new movie starring Vemal and directed by Bose Venkat of 'Kanni Maadam' fame. This film is presented by Director Vetrimaaran's Grassroot Film Company and produced by SSS Pictures. The team released the teaser of 'Sir' today, offering audiences their first glimpse of the highly anticipated project.

The story of 'Sir' is set in the village of Mangollai, which holds the superstition that education is against the will of the gods. Vemal and Chaya Devi star as teachers who fall in love amidst this backdrop. When malevolent forces threaten the school in Mangollai, the two protagonists unite to defend the importance of education.

The 1.5-minute teaser concludes dramatically with Vemal declaring, "I have killed the god," promising an intense and thought-provoking narrative. 'Sir' features an ensemble cast including Vemal, Chaya Devi Kannan, Siraj S, Saravanan, Rama, JaiyaBalan, and others with music by Siddhu Kumar, DOP by Iniyan J Harish and editing by Sreejith Sarang.
