Duet Movies is planning to honor the musical veterans of Tamil cinema on the occasion of the audio launch of its forthcoming movie 'Vellitherai'. Melody Kings of 1960s M.S. Viswanathan and T.K. Ramamurthy will be the center of attraction in the function, scheduled to be held on December 18, in Chennai.

The highlight of the function will be young singers singing some of the immortal songs tuned by these 'Mellisai Mannargal'.

Other veterans like P. Suseela, S.P. Balasubramaniam, and P.B. Srinivas will also grace the occasion.

Following Shankar’s S Pictures, Duet Movies too enters into the world of music. Duet Music is the new company floated by Duet Movies. The audio of 'Vellitherai' will be released by Duet Music, along with Moserbaer, the co producers of the film.

Mohanlal will preside over the audio launch function. It may be recalled that 'Vellitherai' is a remake of Mohanlal starrer 'Udhayananu Thaaram'.

Young musician G.V. Prakash Kumar scores music for 'Vellitherai'.
