Actor Mohanlal's 'Velipadinte Pusthakam' which has been triggering huge hype has finally got a release date. Reportedly, the Mohanlal movie will hit the theatres as an Onam release, on 31st August 2017. However, the team is yet to confirm the release date.

In the movie, Mohanlal essays the role of a college vice-principal named Michael Idikkula. His character is known for his unconventional teaching methods, so much so that his students call him Dracula`. Interestingly, Mohanlal is appearing in three different get-ups for his role in the movie.

The movie has Angamaly Diaries fame Reshma Rajan in the female lead along with Anoop Menon, Arun Kurian of Anandam fame, Salim Kumar, Shajohn and many others in pivotal roles.

Written by Benny P Nayarambalam and produced by Antony Perumbavoor, the film`s music is by Shaan Rahman. From its teaser and posters, 'Velipadinte Pusthakam' promises to be a total surprise package and is expected to release during Onam
