With the recently released teaser and posters, Lal Jose's new directorial 'Velipadinte Pusthakam' starring Mohanlal in the lead role has been creating a huge hype among the audiences. As per the latest update, Mohanlal has finished shooting his portions for the film. The actor took to his Facebook handle to announce the same, revealing that the movie will be an Onam release. "It's a wrap for Velipadinte Pusthakam and you can welcome Onam with this book," wrote Mohanlal along with a picture.

In the movie, Mohanlal essays the role of a college lecturer named Michael Idikkula, who will be seen in two new avatars. With his two different looks for the film, 'Velipadinte Pusthakam' promises to be a total surprise package. The movie has Angamaly Diaries fame Reshma Rajan in the female lead along with Anoop Menon, Arun Kurian of Anandam fame, Salim Kumar, Shajohn and many others in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal will soon start shooting his portions for 'Odiyan', directed by VA Shrikumar Menon.
