At the AMMA general body meeting held yesterday, Mohanlal surprised all with his new look. Sporting a twirled mustache, Mohanlal's second look for the Lal Jose directorial 'Velipadinte Pusthakam', is highly similar to his Pulimurugan avatar. A month ago, Mohanlal's first look for the film was released, which had a striking similarity with Mohanlal's look in 'Devadoothan'. With his two different looks for the film, Velipadinte Pusthakam promises to be a total surprise package.

The movie which would focus on today's education system features Mohanlal in the role of a newly appointed college vice principal named Idicula. Touted to be a comedy entertainer, the movie has Angamaly Diaries fame Reshma Rajan in the female lead along with Anoop Menon, Arun Kurian of Anandam fame, Salim Kumar, Shajon and many others in pivotal roles.

Scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam, 'VelipadintePusthakam' marks the first time collaboration of Mohanlal and Lal Jose. 'VelipadintePusthakam' is expected to release this Onam.
