Today is the birthday of talented and cute actress Hansika.

Hansika entered entered film industry as a child artist with the Hindi film 'Hawa'. Then she became a heroine with the Telugu film 'Desamudhru' with Allu Arjun. She made her Tamil debut as Dhanush's co-star in 'Mappillai', She then acted with Jayam Ravi in the romantic entertainer 'Engeyum Kadhal' directed by Prabhu Deva. The film turned out to be a hit.

Within a short span of time Hansika rose to the top, pairing up with Vijay in 'Velayudham', Suriya in 'Singam 2' and with Karthi in 'Briyani'. She also acted with Sivakarthikeyan in 'Maan Karate'. She also played the charming female lead in 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi'; which marked the debut of Udhayanidhi Stalin as an actor. She is easily one of the vital contributors of the film's success.

Hansika has acted in versatile characters in the film directed by Sundar.C. The list includes 'Theeya Vela Seyyanum Kumaru', 'Aranmanai', 'Aambala' and 'Aranmanai 2'.
