Veteran stunt master Veeru Devgan passed away this morning due to health related problems and old age. Hailing from Amritsar he made a name for himself as the foremost in his craft in Bollywood in the 80s choreographing fights for all the big stars including Amitabh Bachan, Anil Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. He has also directed a film 'Hindustan Ki Kasam' in 1999.

Veeru Devgan is survived by his wife Veena and four children including eldest on Ajay Devgan whom he groomed to become one of the biggest action superstars in Hindi cinema. Actress Kajol is his daughter in law and reports coming in from the North informs that the family is devastated by the loss and the tributes have started flowing in from the film fraternity.
