Popular and controversial director Ram Gopal Varma's Kannada film 'Killing Veerappan' has been dubbed in Tamil as ' Villadhi Villain Veerappan' and released all over Tamil Nadu today. RGV says the film is based on the life and execution of slain bandit Veerappan popularly known as Sandanakadathal Veerappan as he smuggled Sandalwood from Sathyamangalam forests to other places.

Veerappan was killed in a well planned encounter operation by the Tamil Nadu police while his wife Muthulakshmi is till alive. She has now urged Tamil people to boycott the film as it is "full of lies". Her character appears in the film and the poor portrayal of her character has been critcised by certain sections of people who watched the film.

Now we leave it to the judgement capacity of Tamil audience to decide whether or not to watch the film, who is relaible, RGV or Muthulakshmi?
