'Veeram' will hit theatres on February 24

Veeram directed by ace director Jayaraj is touted as the costliest movie in Mollywood. It is multilingual and the latest update about the movie is that it will hit theatres on February 24.

The song we will rise` got the Oscar nomination for best song and is in the final list to compete for the Oscars.

The story is the collaboration of William Shakespeare`s Macbeth and Kerala`s ancient folklore character Chanthu`. Like the drama Macbeth` this film also ends in a tragedy.

The character of Chanthu` is portrayed by actor Kunal Kapoor from Bollywood.

This is the fifth is the series of Nava Rasam`, a series of movies directed by the director.
