‘Veerabhadruni Rahasyam’ Trailer: The World of Marmadesam Returns With a Chilling Mystery

The mystery universe of Marmadesam, one of the most celebrated television franchises of the 1990s, is making a comeback with Veerabhadruni Rahasyam – From the World of Marmadesam. Ahead of its July 3 premiere, ZEE5 Telugu has unveiled the official trailer, offering a haunting glimpse into a suspense-filled tale of faith, folklore, and hidden secrets.

The trailer introduces viewers to Veerabhadrapuram, a village where people firmly believe that Veerabhadra Swamy himself punishes those who commit crimes. Every time the sacred Dharma Ghanta rings, another mysterious death follows. While the villagers accept these deaths as divine justice, a fearless young woman named Vennela, played by Annie, refuses to believe in superstition without questioning it.

As Vennela begins investigating the mysterious deaths, she finds herself caught in a dangerous web of ancient beliefs, hidden conspiracies, and long-buried secrets. The trailer suggests that the biggest threat may not be supernatural forces, but the people determined to keep the truth hidden at any cost.

Filled with eerie temple rituals, dense forests, haunting visuals, and an unsettling atmosphere, the trailer successfully recreates the signature mood that made Marmadesam a cult phenomenon. Blending mystery, suspense, folklore, and investigative drama, the series promises an edge-of-the-seat experience for thriller lovers.

Directed by Bheemagani Sri Vardhan Reddy, the series stars Annie in the lead role alongside Raghu Kunche, Raghu, Kalki, SI Ravi, Kamal Thumu, Sireesha, Anuradha, Balachandra, and Harvin Reddy. The technical crew includes cinematographer Subhash, music composer Sudha Srinivas, editor Ragam Satya Nitish, screenplay writer Rudarraju Chanakya Varma, and dialogue writer Anjan Megoti.
