Nandamuri Balakrishna is not just a fictional character in the world of 'Veera Simha Reddy'. He is a de facto TDP leader raising his brave voice against the excesses of the YS Jaganmohan Reddy government.
In the latest BO release, some political dialogues obviously meant to show the YCP government as anti-developmental have become a talking point. In a scene, the titular character says that he would be meeting the Home Minister even though the concerned Minister is a useless person. He describes the politician as a 'Vedhava' who must be respected by virtue of having been elected to office by the people.
In another scene, the hero says that true development involves constructive policies and not "demolition". There is another dialogue in direct service of a "visionary who has put Andhra Pradesh on the world map".
Then there is a topical line on the issue of the delay in crediting salaries to the accounts of government employees in AP. It comes with the opinion that doles don't signify development. The YCP government views itself as the greatest benefactor of people because it gives pensions and doles.
