Director of very good standing in Telugu films Veera Shanker intends to take up his dream project of his life - a historical film on Nizam dynasty. This historical film in Telugu will be made on par with the Hollywood films Gladiator and Brave Heart says the eminent director. Veera Shanker given a moderate hit in Kannada 'Namma Basava' starring Puneeth Rajkumar and Gowri Munjal has come back again to direct Kannada film 'Anthu Inthu Preethi Banthu'.

The historical film on Nizam dynasty dates back to late 40's. Director Veera Shanker is working on the script referring 150 books from last one year. He is roping in Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu to play the lead in this Rs.20 crore budget film.

Veera Shanker a long time associate to Kodi Ramakrishna directed films like 'Halo I Love You, Prema Kosam, Vijayaramaraju, Kutumba Shanker' in Telugu. A class mate of actor Srikanth the prominent director in Telugu hails from Raichur district of Karnataka.
