Young director A.G.Amid's 'Rajathandhiram' was one of the sleeper hits and a critically acclaimed genuine thriller flick of the year 2015. Then there were widespread talks about the director teaming up with Chiyaan Vikram but they are far from materialized status.

Now we are bringing you a surprising announcement about the Director's next.

Amid has started directing the sequel to 'Rajathandhiram' with retaining the same cast and technical crew. The surprise does not stop with this.

The team has completed a good chunk of shooting of 'Rajathandhiram 2' and they are ready with the first six minutes of the film. We learn from reliable sources that this six minute video will be released like a teaser of the film on March 13, 2016. It is worth recalling that 'Rajathandhiram' released on March 13, 2015. The completion of the first year of a super hit film can not be celebrated in a better way than this.

'Rajathandhiram' stars Veera Bahu and Regina Cassandra in lead roles. The supporting cast included Pattiyal.G.Sekar. Ilavarasu, Darbuka Siva, Ajay Prasath and 'Aadukalam' Naren among others. G.V.Prakash Kumar composed the songs while Sandeep Chowta rendered the BGM. Cinematography was by S.R.Kathir while Editing was handled by Praveen Antony.

We hope that the cast and crew is largely unaltered but we will have to wait for an official announcement to get things clear.
