Vikram-starrer Veedinthe, whose music (Yuvan Shankar Raja) was launched recently, is slated to release on the 30th. The producers are planning to release the original version (Tamil) on the 23rd.

Directed by Suseenthiran, the film sees K Vishwanath playing father to Vikram in the film. 'By Birth' is the tag line.

The costly film presents Vikram in many avatars. The look of the film, released from time to time, have only added to the impression that this is an all-out Vikram film.

With the plot revolving around the ubiquitous criminal phenomenon of land encroachment, Veedinthe has come to be seen as a potential action film as well.

Among the other highlights, the film has Shriya Saran and Reema Sen in cameo roles.

Touted as a mass entertainer, the film is produced by Prasad V Potuluri. Since Vikram is donning many get-ups, the film has high expectations riding on it.
