'Veedevadu', starring Sachiin Joshi and Esha Gupta, will hit the screens on Sept 15. It will clash with Sunil-starrer 'Ungarala Rambabu'.

Directed by Tatineni Sathya of 'Bheemili Kabbadi Jattu' and 'SMS' fame, the thriller sees the male lead in the role of a culprit on the run. He keeps outwitting the cops (played by Kishore and Supreet, among others). Srinivas Reddy and Vennela Kishore are also seen in other key roles.

"It's a crime mystery, wherein a kabbadi player is falsely framed in his girlfriend's murder case," the makers reveal. Prabhu, Dhanya Balakrishnan, Shatru, Delhi Ganesh, Haris and Kishore Kumar are part of the cast.

Music is by SS Thaman. The cinematography is by Binendra Menon. Editing is by Prawin Pudi. Stunt choreography is by Kamal Kannan.
