'Vedi' that is gearing up to burst open this Diwali is directed by Prabhu Deva and has Vishal and Sameera Reddy in the lead roles. Music is by Vijay Antony, and as earlier reported, 'Vedi' will see an audio release on September 1.

Now the latest is that two songs are to be canned at exotic yet never-seen-before locales in South Africa, and it seems, Prabhu Deva, who usually specializes in the songs of the films he shoots, is taking special care of the costumes of these two tracks.

Also, Devi Sri Prasad, a dear friend of Prabhu Deva, will be making a special appearance in one of the songs along with Sameera Reddy. Devi Sri Prasad is usually known for his stage performance and is known to be a livewire at the sets and sources close to the unit vouch that this peppy track will set a rage among the young.

The post-production work on the film is taking shape at a rapid pace and the talkie portions have been wrapped. Are you all ready for some 'Vedi' this Diwali?
