Vedhika to play a working mom

Actress Vedhika, who has become a familiar face in Mollywood, has landed a plum role. She will play the leading lady in a movie titled 'James and Alice'. Vedhika will appear in the title role as Alice, who is mother to a four year old. Alice is also a banker.
Alice is married to James, played by Prithviraj, who is a painter cum ad filmmaker. Ace cinematographer Sujith Vasudev is the director and the movie is scheduled to go on floors by October. This is a big opportunity for Vedika to prove her versatility. as this is the first time that she is doing an urbane relationship drama in Mollywood, which is closer to the ground realities of everyday strife of the modern life.
