As we had reported earlier Harish Uthaman of 'Thani Oruvan' fame is acting as a villain in 'Rekka' which has Vijay Sethupathi and Lakshmi Menon in lead roles. Now we learn that there is another important villain role in the film and that role will be played by Kabeer Singh of Thala Ajith's 'Vedalam' fame.
Sources reveal that the story of the film is about a law graduate played by Vijay Sethupathi who incurs the enmity of two gangsters played by Harish Uthaman and Kabir Singh. This will be an out and out action flick directed by Rathna Siva of 'Vaa Deal' fame..
This supporting cast of the film includes Sathish. He has acted in many films with Sivakarthikeyan and this is his first film with Vijay Sethupathi. Veteran K.S.Ravikumar plays the hero's father in the film.
D.Imman and Dinesh Krishnan will be handling the musical score and cinematography of this film respectively.
The shooting of the film is all set to begin in Chennai from the 12th day of May that is the forthcoming Thursday.
