Vattaram
After Idhaya Thirudan, director Saran is back to wield the megaphone for Vattaram featuring Arya and two newcomers Keerat and Adhisaya in lead roles.
Besides directing Saran is also producing the movie on behalf of his Gemini Productions.
Sounding confident that the movie would have a cocktail of action, humor and romance, Saran says, 'Vattaram, slated for Deepavali release, is a youthful entertainer. Arya in the company of Nepolean has given one of his best performances. He has immense potential and sure to go places'.
Saran is introducing two new faces Keerat and Adhisaya through his Vattaram.
'Vattaram has the makings of a good entertainer, an action-oriented film, different from the gangster movies doing the rounds in Kollywood. Music will be the heart-and-soul with Bharadwaj having done an excellent job. Songs are integral part of my movie,' Saran adds.
Saran recalled his association with music composer Bharadwaj and lyricist Vairamuthu. The trio had been part of 11 films.
Arya, on his part, said, 'Saran has been a very courteous director, who got the best from him. Acting in Vattaram helped me to polish my acting skills. It has everything it to become a box-office hit,' he added.
Keerat and Adhisaya too echoed the same.
'We are fortunate to make our debut in the hands of Saran', they said in chorus. Also in the cast include Avinash and Ramji.
Arya plays a gun-seller and will be one of the interesting roles he has done.
With a hit with Pattiyal, all eyes are on him to deliver one more and consolidate his position.
Nepoleon plays a street-smart, techno-gizmo flaunting man --- a far cry from his rustic villain roles.
Vattaram will make it to the theaters for Deepavali.
