Varutha Padatha Valibar Sangam
After starting off his career in a test matchy fashion winning average reviews at BO, and then moving on to a one day matches now the actor is playing 20-20 style post his Ethirneechal. Now it will be a big litmus test for Siva, as this movie will determine how he steps into the next zone of biggies. As usual he will be starring in a comedy flick which has always remained as his forte. The movie is directed by Ponram a former associate of OKOK director Rajesh M, and the dialogue writing of this movie is by none other than Rajesh, so expect nothing short of a cracker comedy in the making. Taking a leaf out of rural milieu, the trailer shows a combo of masala and commercialization, Siva is Bose Pandi and Sathyaraj is Sivananda. How the both of them team up or lock horns is something to watch and laugh. After gaining a reputation of being a heinous villain, then an ironic hero, now he has started to portray character roles that are power packed and blended in the story line. Yes, Sathyaraj sir indeed! Also in the cast is ParottaSoori who is slowly raising his standards of a matured comedian, a usual sidekick who the hero can rely on. Sri Vidhya opens up as a first timer with Siva, in a total village girl get up; let's see how she fits in the rural shoes. One another major advantage this movie has is the music director D.Imman, who likes to roll his sleeves up and present a grand entry when it comes to village centric music. The movie has some fine tunes, not to single out the song crooned by Siva Karthikeyan who debuts as a singer. P.Madhan of Escape artists motion pictures is producing this flick, so expect grandiose in all elements. The movie hits the theatres this week clashing with Vishal-Sundar C's MGR another entertainer, so let's see who wins the horse race to the finish! |
