Varun Tej's 13th movie is going to be a Telugu-Hindi bilingual to be produced on a grand scale by Sony Pictures International Productions and Renaissance Pictures. The untitled film, which is inspired by true events, will have the backdrop of the Indian Air Force.

Directed by Shakti Pratap Singh (he is a debutant director who has had a wide experience as a cinematographer, Ad maker and VFX artist), the film will go on the floors in November this year.

The 'F3' and 'Ghani' actor said that he will be seen in a layered IAF officer's role in the untitled film. "I am undergoing immense training for the character," he added, describing Sony Pictures as a big deal. "Bravery that knows no bounds, celebrating the valour of Indian Air Force. Get ready to witness the battle in the skies on the big screen, taking off soon! (sic)," he tweeted.

To be released in theatres in 2023, VT13 (Varun Tej's 13th movie) will be a patriotic drama with edge-of-the-seat moments. "This movie will not just be an incredible spectacle packed with action and heart, but it will also evoke emotions like never before," producer Sandeep Mudda said.
