Varun Tej signs his first sports drama

Varun Tej will be seen as a boxer in a film to be released next year. To be directed by debutant Kiran Korrapati, this untitled film will be presented by Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts. Allu Venkatesh and Sidhu Mudda will jointly produce it on Renaissance Pictures.
The Mega hero is gung-ho about the project. He has trained under a boxing guru in the US for this challenging, well-etched role. You will see him in better shape than ever before in the movie, a source says.
The film will be shot from December onwards. Thaman will compose the music, while George C Williams is the cinematographer.
Varun is currently reveling in the success of 'Gaddalakonda Ganesh', which was released last month. The 'F2' actor has been choosy these days.
