On December 29 last year, Varun Tej revealed that he had tested positive for coronavirus. He immediately isolated himself at home and was asymptomatic. The news is that the 'F2' hero has recovered from the virus and has successfully tested negative. It took him all of a week to recover.

"Never thought a report saying negative would bring in so much joy to me. Yes, I tested covid negative. Thank you very much for all the love and prayers," the 'Antariksham' actor wrote on Twitter.

On the same day as him, Ram Charan had tested positive for the virus. He, too, has been asymptomatic and is said to be doing quite well. After the 'RRR' actor and Varun Tej tested positive, Upasana and Allu Sirish, among others, got themselves tested. They were negative.

Meanwhile, Varun Tej is expected to join the shoot of F3', directed by Anil Ravipudi and starring Venkatesh as the first major lead. Tamannaah and Mehreen Pirzada are the heroines.
