Varun Tej, who is currently busy with the promotion of 'Kanche' these days, is very protective about his sister Niharika. Although the young lass is all set to take the first step into the film industry, she has turned out to be a sensation already.

Of late Varun's fans had objected Niharika making her entry into cinema. However the handsome Mega hero came in full support to his dear sister while saying that Niharika's film decision was well planned and thoroughly discussed within their family. "How can fans decide a person's career in a family?," remarked Varun, when he was asked about his fans' objection.

In fact, Varun also revealed that Peddananna aka Chiranjeevi was the first person who first gave his support to Niharika when she revealed her careen plans to him. Varun even promised fans that Niharika will not hurt their feelings.
