Mega hero Varun Tej had started shooting for his space film in the direction of the critically-acclaimed director Sankalp Reddy on May 11. The news is that he is done with most of the space-related scenes in gravity conditions. This schedule went for about a month without interruption. "Lot of hard work put in creatively and physically to achieve something never before on screen! Great effort team!" Varun said.

The untitled flick (allegedly, it's title is 'Anthariksham') stars Lavanya Tripathi as the Mega Prince's lover girl. Aditi Rao Hydari, much like the hero, will be seen as an astronaut. A science thriller, VFX will play a key role and the film has been shot in huge sets. Satya Dev, Raja, Srinivas Avasarala, Rahman (Raghu), among others, are part of the cast.

The film could hit the screens this year itself.
