"Let's light up the theatres this Diwali," actor Varun Tej today tweeted, announcing the release date of his upcoming movie 'Ghani'. The film, which is a boxing-based drama, will hit the screens in November for the big festival. So far, this is the only straight Telugu film to announce its release date for Diwali. In Tamil, Rajinikanth's 'Annaatthe' is in the race. 

Directed by newcomer Kiran Korrapati, the film's last schedule began on July 10. Currently in the post-production phase, 'Ghani' has action choreography by Larnell Stoval and Vlad Rimburg. 

Presented by Allu Aravind, Saiee Manjrekar is playing the female lead in it. Sandalwood superstar Upendra has a pivotal role. Bollywood star Sunil Shetty, who will be seen in Vishnu Manchu's 'Mosagallu' soon, also has a role. Naveen Chandra, too, is a part of the cast. If music and cinematography are by Thaman S and George C Williams, respectively, 'Ghani' has editing by Marthand K Venkatesh.
