Varun Tej as secret agent

Actor Varun Tej and director Krish, who earlier delivered critically acclaimed film Kanche, have decided to team up again for an espionage thriller Raayabaari. The film will see Varun in a bearded look as a secret agent for India's intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). Rajeev Reddy and Saibaba Jagarlamudi are jointly producing this film under First Frame Entertainments banner.
Currently, the script work is underway and the final version is expected to be readied by Pongal. The makers are planning to launch the film in February. Varun is currently toning his body to play one of the stylish roles of his career. The actor's last outing Loafer directed by Puri Jagannadh has been declared as an average grosser at the box office and Varun believes that Raayabaari will put him back in the success track.
