Varun Dhawan slammed an ignorant troll

For last couple of months, Varun Dhawan has been working on his upcoming film 'Bhediya' in Arunachal Pradesh. As the actor returned to Mumbai after completing the schedule, he and his wife Natasha Dalal were interrupted at the airport by paparazzi. They were asked to pose for the cameras and stuff like that but Varun strictly denied and urged the reporters to maintain proper social distancing among themselves. The video of the same has been doing rounds on the social media since then.
As we know that social media can be very toxic at times, Varun faced backlash for nothing by a social media user who had no knowledge about what was going on. The user commented, "You went out for vacay and gave paps the chance to snap, now you come back and complain. Stop over showing your privilege when people in your country are dying."
Varun was quick to respond and effectively slammed the user for their ignorant and baseless comment. He wrote, "Well, your assumption is wrong. I was shooting my film and not on holiday. And what do you mean 'Gave them a chance?' How do you not give them a chance? I have people who have also lost their life in covid. So please keep your assumptions to yourself."
