Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan announced on Sunday that he and his wife, Natasha Dalal, are expecting their first child. The couple got married on January 24, 2021. The monochrome picture shows Natasha and Varun in their Mumbai abode with their pet dog Joey. Natasha lovingly cradled her stomach in her hands, while Varun planted a kiss on his wife's baby bump. Varun captioned the image, saying, "We are pregnant. I need all your blessings and love. #myfamilymystrength."

With this, both celebrities have been showered by their fans and friends with congratulatory messages in the comment section of their respective social media accounts. Karan Johar wrote : "I love you both! So happy for you and the family! Welcome to the best feeling in the world." Bhumi Pednekar said: "Congratulations." Arjun Kapoor commented: "Daddy & Mommy number 1."

Varun Dhawan, one of the best-known Bollywood actors, has a father named David Dhawan and a brother named Rohit Shawan. Natasha is a Mumbai-based fashion designer who owns her own label. They were dating for a very long time before the wedding. Natasha shared their love story in an interview: "Varun and I went to school together. We were friends until we were in our mid-20s, and then I suddenly remembered that we started dating just before I moved away. It was around then that I think we realized we were more than good friends."

Varun has Bawaal, Bhediya with Nitesh Tiwari, and a special song, Heart Throb, for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, on his upcoming slate. The cast is also confirmed for Baby John, Citadel, and reportedly Dulhania 3.
