Actors Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have done some really entertaining films together and the latest buzz suggests that they might reunite for yet another project very soon. The duo made their debut with Karan Johar's 'Student Of The Year' and then went on to star in romantic dramas 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' and 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania'.

Recent reports have suggested that filmmaker Shashank Khaitan is now working on the third installment of the series which will reunite Varun and Alia's once again. A source close to the development told Bollywood Life, "Shashank has been working on the script for quite a time now. And he has even approached both his actors for the same. While Alia and Varun are yet to give their date to the director. And once everything is finalised the film will go on the floors."

In his earlier interaction with PTI, Shashank had stated, "I want to do a part three of the Dulhania franchise. It’s tempting, but for the right reason and not the wrong ones. I don’t want to make it to monetise it. Varun, Alia, Karan (Johar) and I are clear that we don’t want to do it for money."
