Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon are going to star together in the horror comedy flick 'Bhediya'. The film was announced earlier this year and the principle cast was busy filming for the project in Arunachal Pradesh from March to April. The project has been in news throughout the development and recently there have been some new revelations about the film. While it was already known that Varun will be seen playing a werewolf like character in the film, the recent update has revealed something about the plot of the film.

According to Pinkvilla, the film will be based on the theme of saving the forests. A source close to the project told Pinkvilla, “Bhediya revolves around the theme of ‘Save the forests’. However, the message has been conveyed with humour, in a classic Amar Kaushik style. The last leg of the film was shot in June in Mumbai, and it’s now in the post-production stage."

Most of the filming is done by now and both Varun and Kriti are focusing on other projects at the moment. Varun will be seen in 'Jug Jug Jeeyo' and 'Ekkis' after this one while Kriti Sanon has 'Ganpath', 'Bachchan Pandey', 'Adipurush' and other films in her pipeline.
