Director Gunasekhar has teamed up with Mani Sharma after `Arjun' with veteran lyricist Vetturi Sundaramamoorthy for `Varudu'. During the audio launch of the programme, the director claimed this movie to be a meaningful movie about the Indian marriage system. Hence meaningful lyrics have been given prime importance.

Mani Sharma has been giving us hits for a long time now, and this album has fared well, if not the best. This is also Mani's second outing with Allu Arjun, after `Parugu' that received a lot of appreciation for music.

Vetturi has written all the songs, while the singers part of this album are - Benny Dayal, Karthik, Jamuna Rani, Hemachandra, Malavika, Vijayalakshmi, Sunanda, Ranjith and Hindi singers Sonu Nigam and Shreya Goshal.

Saare Jahaan   Listen here

Starting off with a western feel and continuing with techno beats, Saree Jahaan is a song that has a fine and dandy mix of beats and the flute, with the vocals of Benny Dayal. The humming in the background makes this song hum-worthy.We'll have to wait to see the video, to see Allu Arjun's dance moves. Pick of the album!

Aidhurojulu Pelli   Listen here

Listen to the first stanza, Vetturi's amazing lyrics, talking about the marriages made in the Telugu culture and complimenting those words is a very delightful humming and vocals by the singers. Soon after the 1st stanza, a sudden change of rhythms and tune will be noticed, the song is basically a family song talking about the marriage.  A keen ear will make you listen to comic lyrics in between and towards the end rituals as well

Kalalu Kaavule   Listen here

Mani Sharma's albums always have a melodious number with racy beats, and Kalalu Kaavule is one such number. Lyrics suggest that the hero seems to woo his lady love in this song. Especially with the humming of Malavika in between, this song is a pleasure to listen.

Thalambraalatho   Listen here

Thalambraalatho, as the song starts, the lyrics by Vetturi bring out the beautiful proceedings in a marriage. The veteran lyricist has a delicate mind that pens such wonderful lyrics. Hemachandra has given the song the essential essence. Must listen for the lyrics and Mani's composition is simply pleasant. Towards the end you might be reminded of the rhythms used in Mani's musical classic `Murari'.

Bahusha Vo Chanchalaa   Listen here

A slow melodious duet, Sonu Nigam's start in the song first gives you a feeling of a Hindi song but later he manages to correct his nuances for Telugu. A Telugu singer would have given the song more feel.  Shreya's voice is really magical. Again, the lyrics receive a special notice.

Aidhurojula Pelli   Listen here

A shorter version of the second song of the album, the lyrics have been changed and you won't hear those comic lyrics. Instead, meaningful lyrics narrating the entire process of the marriage and the perfect relationship of a husband and wife.

Rela- re- Rela   Listen here

A mass dance number. Might be a delight to listen to in the theatres for Allu Arjun's fans. Mani has used folk beats with modern beats with a fresh approach. The song might not keep you entertained for a long time. Wait for the movie to release and see Allu Arjun dance for those mass beats.

Varudu- An album with meaningful lyrics and equally significant music.
