Allu Arjun's Arya2 has been declared a box office hit and the actor's multi-starrer Vedam is all set to release in January. Arjun is busy shooting for his another mega project with Gunasekhar, titled Varudu. The film is produced by DVV Danayya. The date of release has also been announced well in advance: March 26.

Arjun, who is on cloud nine, has just completed a 15-day schedule along with Tamil actor Arya, who is playing a character with negative shades in the film. So, who is acting opposite the stylish star? It's a debutante, who was selected after hundreds of girls were auditioned for the role.

In Varudu, Gunasekhar has enlisted members of 100 families to perform in some scenes.

Mani Sharma, who lent music for the director's earlier films Okkadu, Arjun and Sainikudu, is the music director of Varudu too. DVV Danayya won a hit with Arjun through Desamuduru and he hopes to repeat the magic at BO, again. Varudu, which we are making at a mammoth cost, has been well crafted by Gunasekhar, Danayya quoted.

Suhasini, Asish Vidhyarthi, Sayaji Shinde and others are playing important roles. Stunts, which are the main aspect of the film, are by Stun Siva.
