'Varudu Kaavalenu': Good openings registered in US

'Varudu Kaavalenu' is on its way to attaining the hit status. After receiving positive 'word of mouth' and super-positive reviews, the Naga Shaurya-starrer is doing well at the box office.
In the US, Premieres and the Day 1 collections have given it one lakh dollars. From Premieres alone, the rom-com made about USD 45,000. The rest of it came from the first day collections, Blue Sky Cinemas said in a statement.
Directed by Lakshmi Sowjanya, the film has an author-backed character for Ritu Varma. As Bhumi, she is firm in her speech and autocratic in her attitude. The characterization has won many fans already. Produced by S Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments, the film has a comedy track featuring Saptagiri in the second half. Vennela Kishore, Nadhiya, Murali Sharma, Praveen, and Harsha Vardhan have also been lauded.
With music by Vishal Chandrasekhar and Thaman, the film is expected to continue to have a very good run at the BO. With dialogues by Ganesh Ravuri, the film is also a family entertainer.
