Allu Arjun's film with Guna Sekhar, titled Varudu, is currently in the world-famous Ramoji Film City. The film was shot in the beautiful locales of Allapuzza of Kerala recently, and is just back for its Hyderabd schedule. The schedule in the film city will see the shooting of two songs.

The director announced that Singitham Srinivasa Rao, the veteran film director, is playing an interesting role in the film. Varudu is scheduled for a March 2010 release.

Also starring are Suhasini and Naresh in important roles. Mani Sharma, who scored the music for all Guna Sekhar's previous films, like Choodalani Undi, Okkadu, Sainikudu and Arjun, is composing the music for this one too.

Tamil actor Arya is playing a negative role here. The film is said to help Arjun reinvent himself as a mass hero. As his last film Arya2, which is currently showing in theatres, is a class flick, it is said that Varudu is going to be more important for him, since it targets the rural audience too.
