Director VI Anand approached me with the story, which immediately captivated me with its unique and intriguing premise. I had never encountered a role like this before, and after giving it some thought, I knew I had to be a part of it. Anand's complete narration further solidified my belief in the project and my ability to bring the character to life.

Can you elaborate on your role as Bhumi in the film?

I portray Bhumi, a tribal girl who possesses a self-educated nature and a remarkable courage to stand up against injustice. While appearing innocent on the surface, she harbors immense strength and determination. The audience will witness the true power of her character as the story unfolds. Unlike my previous roles in films like Swathimutyam and Middle Class Melodies, where I played the girl next door, Bhumi can be aptly described as the girl next forest. The trailer offers a glimpse of an action sequence that showcases the physical and emotional strength inherent in Bhumi.

What challenges did you face in playing a tribal role?

Having grown up in the hill station of Coorg, I feel a deep connection to nature and the elements. In real life, we revere trees, rivers, hills, and animals, which helped me relate to the role of Bhumi on a personal level.

How was your experience working with Sandeep Kishan?

Sandeep Kishan is an incredibly respectful and approachable co-star. He treats everyone with warmth and kindness, making the work environment positive and collaborative. His compassionate nature and strong work ethic make him a pleasure to work with.

Are you a fan of VI Anand's previous films? What drew you to this particular role?

I thoroughly enjoyed VI Anand's film Ekkadaki Pothavu Chinnavada, which showcased his ability to blend various elements seamlessly. The opportunity to work with him was very exciting, and when I learned about the role of Bhumi, I felt an instant connection. The character's depth and complexity appealed to me greatly.

I am drawn to characters that, regardless of their length, play a significant role in the overall narrative. All my previous roles have been of this nature, allowing me to make an impactful contribution to the films I've been a part of.

Currently, I am involved in another exciting project, but the producer will provide more information soon. I've had the opportunity to work in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam films, and I'm open to exploring the possibility of making a Kannada film in the future.
